This is my main work other than typical agricultural/heavy handed farmer abuse I normally do. Been working for this firm about 2 years and they seem to like my work. Done a load of these chassis extensions on 830, 840TX and now the new models 835 and 845. The very first 845 we got in the country I cut and added 650mm in the middle and 400mm rear extension. I strip the machine first, bolsters, headboard removed, strip the electrics, hydraulics, propshaft and slacken brakes off. I always remove the diff now its a lot easier to line the chassis up with it removed.
Its a simple job really and did not have any apprehension cutting it (even though its over £200,000+). The main job is getting it all lined up and everything being neat and tidy before going out. Try and post some other photos of other stuff I do
