It will not become a dumping ground.
Famous last words.
The 'stays' latch when you raise the countertop up to horizontal.
Great, only it's going to drop down.

I could use those and make it fold up instead I even have some gas struts here I could bodger into the build to help it raise up.These folding Hebgo brackets are pretty good - load capacity is 500kg per pair. The 'stays' latch when you raise the countertop up to horizontal.

wow great nabbed that pair for £80 bargain they were well over £100 eachThey are pricey new, but it's the kind of thing that pops up used from time to time - I just looked and there are a couple of secondhand sets on the bay of fleas right now.
Brackets arrived today they are nice and beefy, Bit pricey for what they are TBH. I reakon I could make them easily enough, I deffianly would not want to pay the £111 each for them! They are pricey new, but it's the kind of thing that pops up used from time to time - I just looked and there are a couple of secondhand sets on the bay of fleas right now.

I use contact adhisive on kitchen worktop cutouts.Seal all the cut sides with a good laquer / varnish / Shellac to stop it absorbing water vapour, ideally do it before you take it outside. Silicon isn't the best thing as it won't absorb into the chipboard.
me too.I use contact adhisive on kitchen worktop cutouts.
