I never feel 100% about this. A Flymo will cut the grass either way, but there must be a reason for the tip angle.
Personally I feel the angled tips should face upwards so as not to come in to contact with the soil below the grass base when the mower is set to cut real low. But I would not put money on my theory-I am unsure.
Anyone know?
Edit: Which way do a plane's wing flaps go to create lift, up or down?
