Good evening!
Flux wire (gasless gas-less) with un-modifed SIP Migmate Handy MIG
====================================================
I have been given a SIP Migmate Handy MIG (gas shielded as standard) by the owner who could not be bothered to replace the liner (which I have done)
Since it cannot easily be converted to work with the polarity reversed (no jokes about dilithium crystals here!), what quality of weld could I expect with flux wire using an unconverted gas MIG (with no gas bottle of course)?
I am aiming to weld lengths of 1mm thick wall steel tube.....
Kind regards
Dr B
