I’ve started. Expect naive questions, mediocre results and questionable progress.
Today I pulled out the NOS door I’d acquired to prep for paint. It’s had a hard life doing nothing so I knocked out a couple of dents and got to work.
Used 80grit to key the filler areas. Then a thing smear of filler. That was knocked back with 120, 240 & 320 grit on a long block.
Picture attached for your critique! I think it’ll need a bit more filler in a couple of places as it still feels wavy.
