Hi, I'm Dave, a 20 yr old student from South Wales. I'm studying Engineering and own a classic mini so there is no doubt that I should really own a welder. I'm obviously on a tight budget (who isn't) and don't mind second hand if the quality is there. I'm hearing good things about Clarke and mixed Sealey ratings, looking for some good advice on what to get. I only intend to use the welder for car work and it won't see a huge amount of work but will be kept for a long time and used quite regularly.
There's a Sealey 130XT going near me that I could afford, good or bad? Should I save and get a Clarke?
