I've been making do with a second hand Clarke MIG for about a decade now, but have some money to look at a replacement/upgrade.
Based on my requirements (mostly thin classic car bodywork, occasional chassis repairs), mostly using 0.6 / 0.8mm wire and gas not gasless.
Within budget I'm looking at :
Parweld XTE 171C (https://migtigarc.co.uk/parweld-xte-171c-mig-welder-3296-p.asp)
SWP MIG 180 TURBO (https://migtigarc.co.uk/swp-mig-180-turbo-441-p.asp)
Any thoughts or preferences 1 vs the other?
Cheers, Sam
