Hi guys, 1st post here
My elderly and much abused Clarke 100e has broken and I'm finally in a position to upgrade.
I mostly use a welder for automotive work out on the drive. I've been using gasless wire as the gas feed on the Clarke is knackered but with the new welder I intend to contact Adams gas about a big bottle. I'm also building a small workshop to house my forge so will be doing odd bits of blacksmithing work as well but if I need more power for this, I'll just get a Arc welder as well.
I have been recommended to buy a Fimer 155 by our local stockist

I like the idea of a eurotorch and the overall size of the welder as it may not always be convenient to keep it on a trolley. I've heard that these welders are better quality than Clarke/SIP etc
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Rich
