hi guys ,
I'm new to car bodywork and iv took on a resto project . The car plastic wheel arches and there is screw holes on the body . I dont intent to put them back on so id like to fill them . probably 3 mm diameter .
to my knowledge if i simply filled them with the mig , when i grind them flush they wont be held on by anything and a ring will become visable .
Is the best thing to do - grind the hole first below the level of the panel then weld and buff down then correct with filler ? of put a small peice of metal behind the hole and weld to that then buff flat and finish with filler ?
any advise will be appreciated
many thanks - marky
