Hello forum members! This afternoon, I decided to carry out a minor cosmetic repair to a rear wheel arch on my trusty old car.
Used my powercraft gasless mig loaded with decent wire, and set to carrying out my repair. My plan was to grind and cut out thin rotten steel and fit up a new piece/pieces of new steel. But as you can guess, with fords when you cut out rust, you will always find more lurking around the corner
Excuse the picture of my ugly mush
I've plastered it in underseal to keep the water out until I purchase a small package of body filler and some primer, sand paper and color coat and clear coat. I don't think I did too badly and theres a tiny bit or warpage at the top but its better than using fibreglass ..
