Now before you all recoil in horror.
In the process of doing the wheel arches on my t4 transporter
Im definitely welding in a new outer skin of the arches, so no fear there
However on the inner arch the last inch of metal where it meets the outer skin has gone in places.
It will be an absolute ball ache to change the inner arch because it involves ripping out all the carpet which is glued to the wheel arch
However what I was considering was chopping the inch of rot out. Treating with POR 15 and fibreglassing up to the new outer skin?
Do you recon this repair will last?
Thanks
Dan
