In my house I have an upstairs lighting ring main. Sometime in the dim and distant past there was a fused switch cut into the ring to run an extractor fan straight off the fused spur AND a LED low volt light from the same spur but via a pull cord. The extractor is physically in the loft space to extract from a shower cubicle in the en-suite and the light's LED driver is fixed to a joist in the ceiling void above the en-suite cubicle. Pull cord hangs from the cubicle ceiling. The actual fused spur switch is in an adjacent fitted wardrobe just inside the door.
Is this going to pass muster on an electrical safety check?
