O optima21 Member Messages 4,358 Location halifax, England Aug 13, 2015 #22 if both pipes are steel, can't you just cut both pipes and weld them together? if you can't do that can you cut a slot in the 12mm pipe, expand it to 1/2" and then weld the slot backup.
