Hi
I'm looking for the circuit diagram of the EWS EX100 palsma cutter. searching the web yieled so far no results. hope that you can help me somehow.
Happy new year.
Hi Amron. There was a disscusion on plasma cutter repairs just before xmas and mention of a good company that done repairs and were said to be a good source of info. Problem was it was classed as advertising there company and the links to there web site were removed. I did see that thoes that had used the company were willing to pass the info on via PM's. Worth a look back through the December posts in this section.
Hi, sorry for being so late in responding.
The EWS EX100 plasma cutter, if I am correct, is a three phase inverter powered machine, made in Italy by EWS. They were a good firm, known for great expertise in inverter technology, and as such, were taken over by Lincoln a few years back. After which, many of their products were added to the Lincoln catalogue, and continued be sold, eventually acquiring the red paint job and Lincoln logo.
Lincoln have always been good at providing technical info, circuit diagrams, detailed troubleshooting guides etc on the web. Though in their service manual they do caution.... 'It has to be stressed that attempts to repair inverter modules without the required specialist test equipment can be very difficult and in some cases impossible'.
Another possible source of info could be the Migatronic website which has info on some EWS products which were badged as Migatronic gear in the time before EWS was taken over by Lincoln... you just have to wade through circuit diagrams for similar spec models to the ones you're looking for.

Have you ever solved problem with your plasma cutter?
I have chance to buy plasma cutter named EX100 for low price. There is no any company logo on it. This one is in metal casing colored in green.
I suppose this one may be the same as yours. Can you or someone else to tell me experience with this plasma cutter? Is it worth to buy?
Also, please tell me, did you ever get circuit diagram for your plasma cutter?
This unit, which I've chance to buy are similar to this one on the attached photo. Only instead of EX60 it is named EX100. I found this photo on the internet.
When made by EWS in Italy these were, in my opinion, the best inverter plasma systems on the market. I sold them in the 90's, being their UK distributor after Hypertherm had stopped getting them badged under their name and marketed as the original Max series.
