I bought a new welder from @Richym a few weeks back and as he was keeping the pedal for his new ACDC box I needed to get a trigger lead before I could run some beads. I spoke to a couple of companies and never got any reply so a fellow member (who wishes to remain nameless) came to my rescue and sorted me out everything I needed in a few hours. Wish I could thank them publicly but I respect their reasons. Thank you very much, you know who you are!
So here's the very first weld I did; sorry @J.B. Welding - you left a nice clean bit of 6mm kicking around and I veritably jumped into my hand when I was looking for something to use. Honest!
Wasn't hot enough so had to take my time and got a bit of undercutting :
Stuck another ten amps on and ran much more smoothly:
I know there's a lot of you out there who won't be impressed with them there beads, and I know they're nothing special, but the EWM is just so easy to use. They took no effort at all to do and HF is just AMAZING when tacking up.
I fear I am getting somewhat obsessed with TIG. Such a great process
