Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has tried an EWM mig welder for tig welding. I own a Phoenix 355 set-up for steel but I tried it using 4 and 5mm stick and it runs very good, overcoming the limitations of my single phase TIG machine.
I have a foot pedal for the tig welder but would like to know if it's possible to use a foot pedal on the phoenix for arc start and stop + amps control. I know these units can be used for robotic application but if someone succesfully tried it that would help me !
I'm just curious and keen on experimenting TIG at high amps with the proper torch.
Thanks,
Vincent.
