First of all, Hi. Its my first post.
Quick one.
I have an old Sealey Mightymig 130XT which is badly in need of a new torch, liner etc.
I have seen a few conversion kits on the www, which will enable me to convert to a euro connector & appropriate torch.
What are the pitfalls, if any of undertaking the conversion?
A new hobby mig torch complete will cost about the same as the adaptor & new euro torch so cost is niether here or there.
My current torch has a gas valve in the handle assembly, and one suppliers seems to think I will be unable to convert as he says I need a welder with an internal gas valve ????????? Any ideas?
Anyone undertaken a conversion job.
The welder itself puts down some decent welds when the torch/liner/gasvavle etc is having a good day, but is increasingly becomeing more frustrating.
Thanks in anticipation.
