I have acquired an Epco trolley jack which is marked as '2-ton' although by the size of it it's either 2 very heavy tons or it's really old and that's just how they make them. Weighs a huge amount!
Anyway the jack is lowered by twisting the handle, at the bottom is a clever mechanism to turn the lowering screw, however this has snapped and twisted off. I have most of it, it is a universal joint type affair - anyone else got one they could take a photo of for me?
I think one of the 'sticky out bits' on the metal spider is missing, I also think the forks of the other parts should be parallel. They'll need banding back and welding as they have fractured.
I'll strip it down and take a few photos as although it goes up, to make it go back down you have to jump on it. It's been stored in a vehicle wash bay used 24/7 so I think all the pivots are rusty.
