Like many of you out there I bought an Energer 115 mm angle grinder from Screwfix probably 2-3 years ago - attracted by the price. I'm not a heavy user (weightwise or frequency) but when the grinder started to vibrate in a way suggesting something more serious than an out of balance wheel I knew drastic action was called for. I stripped down the head to find the high speed spindle support bearing completely knackered and the ball bearing retaining plate loose with one screw completely out of position.
Long story short - a new brass flanged steady bearing and one known brand of ball bearing later we have a fully participating angle grinder.
Moral: Buy cheap buy again or be prepared to fix it.
