So...
My mum fell over in the bedroom Saturday morning, and spent all day laid on the floor with a broken elbow, just out of reach of the phone.
We've decided to get her an emergency pendant, but rather than getting one that phones SS and charges, I'm looking for one that will send a text/WhatsApp/pm via Bluetooth/pc/mobile to a set of numbers.
I can't find an off the shelf solution?
Problems:
Mum fell when dressing after shower, so would not necessarily have been wearing the pendant - if I can install five or six panic buttons it would be good.
She doesn't always carry her mobile if out. (But she uses a walker outside, and we live in quite a helpful area so it's never been a problem). So a "reverse pager" that I can fasten to her wheels, with perhaps a giff gaff sim card?
The internet and pc is always switched on in house. Power outages aren't a concern.
Any ideas for a cheapish system?
