I've been practising my MMA welding a lot recently and have been doing so in my garage which, not surprisingly, fills with fumes. In an effort to deal with this I acquired, for a knock down price, an Electac MT9E. It is mssing the main, disposable, filter and the flexi hoses (which I knew at the time of purchase). The replacment hose is easy, but what about the filter?
My questions are:
[1] do I fork out between £100 and £140 for a new filter - the unit itself cost £50,
[2] do I run it with only the spark filter,
[3] do I make my own filter and,l if so, from what?
Cheers
Richard
