Stainless bends harder than mild steel Ali is easy. What you can bend depends on what will clamp, what rad you can get off the machine, clearance and strength of the machine. What happens is people hit the latter and instead of thinking "OK this is beyond what it can do" bring in three more guys two each side to give it some stick. The machine either buckles, bends or breaks. So check out for any welded up areas and that all is straight and plumb. Bending something then checking exactly on the fold will tell you mostlythe capacity is 2mm.......is the capacity determined by the weight/power it has or the clearance/getting the clamp lever to lock? both?
main use for me would be 1.5 and 2mm alu, possibly stainless steel
cheers
There was a block missing, or wrong bolts? So I didn't try adjust it....is it the higher adjustment the alters the angle? The one in the pic is for material thickness?
Looks a dog leave it were it lays
Its not cheap so prob just leave it but any idea of value if I got it bending evenly?
