At approx 1630 hrs it appears to be showing approx 4.30 am that is, , the pointer which is at aprox 4.30 is pointing into the Black band Night scale .
Am I reading it correctly ? Tried a chat with British Gas but not made any progress!
If it goes on for longer than a year - they only back bill you for one year (fair billing policy).
Mate of mine - had a new meter fitted 16yrs ago and the chap got the hi low wires wrong and tagged it up. For sixteen years he paid a lower rate for daytime use - only way it would hurt you is if you had nighttime storage heaters - then you would be in pain.
Ah , all is revealed , looking from above the little green light is not visible but with the camera held low it shows up. So at 16.30 it was on low but now at 19.40 it’s on high. I was with EDF for yonks but then went with Look After your Bills but when who ever they put me with went pop I was put with British Gas, but trying to talk to them is a lost cause . Even their Chat Bot refuses to converse!
