Evening all,
As I continue with the quest of refurbishing and restoring a purchase I made a number of months ago and haven't done too much with, I've found myself struggling to reassemble the above mentioned lathe.
99% of the lathe will go back together after removing the years of rust, excessive paint build up and neglect. The 1% I seem to be having issues with, is the "screw cutting" assembly.
If anyone has access to one of these lathes, or detailed measurements, or even any helpful information regarding the parts pictured, diameters internally and externally, it would be gratefully received.
The parts seem to bind in such a way that any minor adjustment after installation is impossible,as if the internal dimension of the "arm" has shrunk.
Cheers,
Steve
