As my wife would say, I’m a bit of a “collect-a-maniac”
I think we're all guilty on that front.

Ummmm.... no.
Pedestal drill, mag drill, plasma cutter, chop saw....

Very nice Matt. You may find that the sliding collar in the dog clutch has been put back the wrong way round. One end is longer than the other. Take the banjo off, whip the sleeve out & pop it back the opposite way round. You'll need to whip the lever out too. That has a taper pin, so careful. It knocks out upwards, as I recall.
Very nice Matt.
Gotta love information like this. It’s clearly come directly from personal experience.
Is the pin threaded into the barWorked out how to get the input shaft out, it did indeed look like the dog clutch was round the wrong way.
This is it fitted what I believe to be the correct way which would line the lever up with the recess in the collar.

I don’t think this pin should look like this should it?
I’ve just loosely fitted it into the hole at the moment.

As I recall, mine was the same.
There's an unusual example on Gumtree right now. Looks to be a long-bed version with reverse tumbler. Probably a good bit later but still flat belt drive.

I didn’t know that they did those extras, it looks great.
The long bed only became an option with the last model/revision. It's user modified on the tumbler front. That tumbler is the one designed for the M type.
Thanks Richard, I might very well take you up on that offer.Even easier. If it’s not meant to look like that send it to me I’ll copy it for you.
Of course warren. A little bit like that with a taper won’t take 10 minutes to spin up and taper. I may even make you a spareThanks Richard, I might very well take you up on that offer.
