The Torx fitting in the bolt head is now useless and apart from needing to get the door off for the work, the bolt is also worn & causing play in the hinge so needs 'out' for that reason too. The other three bolts 'cracked' ok.

I' was hopeful that a G Clamp with a a short length of hollow tube 'bridging' the pointy end would 'do the trick' but the nut just falls off the moment I attempt to tighten it up.
Access is limited, so it appears its impossible to get a 'Tap' in there to put a thread on the exposed end & do it that way (anyone know of a Tap about the size of a Socket)?
*preferably bottom, but if I have to weld it at the top & then grind it off to get the pin out then so be it
NB: have I added a link to the photos OK?
