I have some SS soldering I did that now has heat marks all over it and after a bit of reading I snatched up some cheap Antox 71e. I know it's nasty stuff and I have all the PPE but when I purchased it I somehow had the impression that it didn't need neutralising and a hefty rinse would be enough. Now I'm starting to think it needs some Antox NP on it.
My plan was to put it in the alleyway behind my house and just hose and hose and hose it, starting from a distance away. I'm not really concerned about the environmental impact and it's all garbage back there and I'm hardly going to be using any of it. My main concern is that this is going to be used for homebrewing and it needs to be food safe. It's going to be thoroughly cleaned first both with boiling vinegar and an alcohol wash. Should I be looking for some NP as well?
