Unfortunately not.... the space I want to occupy is roughly 3.5 x 3.5m.could you get a 20' shipping container into where you want to build the shed?
it would make a good secure shed.

Hmm, yes I also don't use a grinder at those times at the moment - i suspect I won't be able to in the future either unless I build a double skin wall, and fit some really high tech door (so no...)its an inch thick on each panel so no but would drown out a good amount of noise more when insulated out inside of it
no offense but i wouldnt want to be using a grinder at that time of nightView attachment 81302
That's an interesting point.. I have 50mm celotex with plasterboard and then a 44mm log wall, and tbh the plasterboard / celotex made almost no difference to the sound. I'm all for sound reduction when possible, so will look into rockwool. Unfortunately of course it's a bit thicker for the same insulation, but it might be worth it for noise reduction.I find that rockwool or similar kills noise far better then kingspan and alike I have a separate room at the rear of my garage, I insulated the roof in that part with rockwool and the main park with kingspan type, when it rains the main part is noisy the rear I can hardly hear it
never fear......Unfortunately not.... the space I want to occupy is roughly 3.5 x 3.5m.
