Can anyone tell me what a new argon/CO2 (110 L) disposable cylinder should weigh?
I bought two online and on trying them the pressure was low. I have an old Clark1 100E mk 2 mig welder and the regulator supplied with it needs to be turned up to maximum (6) before hissing can be heard. (In contrast it only needs to be turned up to nearly 3 with a part used CO2 cylinder)
I told the retailer who promptly replaced them, however the new ones are just the same.
The four all weigh a good bit less than the old part used CO2 cylinder I have - here are the weights:
Old part used cylinder of CO2:
1518 grams
New Argon/CO2 cylinders:
1) 1393 grams
2) 1367 grams
3) 1364 grams
4) 1388 grams
I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me what a full (110 L) disposable cylinder of Argon/CO2 mix should weigh.
