Hi guys.
I have a mighty midget stick welder that is powered by a 12 bhp kohler petrol engine. I have ordered some new bits for it. Points. Condenser. Coil ect...but I have in my possession this twin cylinder 11 bhp electric start Peter engine....providing the shaft is the same diameter I am thinking it will make a better set up than the kohler...no more pull cords ect...the kohler produces 12 bhp at 3200 rpm and the peter 11 bhp at 3000 rpm. The Peter being a twin diesel should produce more to torque than the petrol kohler....I am thinking it should be good to power the transformer on my stick welder.
