I have used brazing quite a lot in the past and as long as used correctly is excellent.
If used on well fitting joints allowing the brass be drawn in by capillary action this method is strong,neat and quick.

I did read somewhere a guy ground all the joints away on his Mini and just filled with filler,he then reversed his car down the driveway to take it for M.O.T , when the driveway met the road the angle changed sharply and the car fell to pieces

Now I think about it It must have been a lot longer ago than I thought, mind playing tricks. Just worked it out, more like 40 years!

You should never really braze but joints, only lap joints. If there was a 1" steel backing strip in there, it would be fine.
As is, it'll just crack and fall to bits. Hopefully not while the car is doing 70 on the snake pass........................
