Hi,
I'm struggling to scribe a line on a section of 125mm 3mm wall tube.
I want to make a 90 degree bend in the pipe.
The log burner just doesn't draw well due to it having a rear exit.
So I'm intending to cut this tube to make a 90 degree bend and use the top port of the fire.
But if I draw a 45 degree line against the tube, it ends up at a greater angle that would not join the two sections together. Trying to dot a line to cut is proving troublesome.
I am obviously thick, but can't see a simple way to scribe a line along which to cut.
Also, it there is a way to cut several slices of pipe to make a smoother bend?
I've received excellent advice here in the past , so thanks in advance.
