Hi everyone.
I've made a start on a custom wiring loom for a buggy running a 1.6L Suzuki G16B 1998 EFI engine (used in Swift and Vitara). There's half a dozen or so sensors. I'm using the original ECU, which doesn't manage anything aside from the engine (ie it won't be confused by the rest of the car being missing like some ECUs are). The ECU is a Mitsubishi unit and I've located a pin out diagram for it. I do have an original wiring loom but it's in a poor state, won't fit the buggy, and has a lot of superfluous wiring, so I'm not keen on reusing it.
I'm currently looking at the charging diagram. I can't understand the purpose of the wire marked X? There are two wires going to the load, one marked X and the other via the main switch (8), both lead to the same place and appear to be positive/feed.
