My makita batteries run an impact screwdriver, angle grinder, rip saw and an SDS impact drill, last 3 don't run for long but the drill and the screw gun go all day.
Makita 18v li-ion job done, I'm a carpenter by trade and lost of my tools are cordless. The 18v combi drill I have is now about 7 years old and still going strong. My original 4 battery's have been replaced now under the makita 2000 charge warranty regardless of age so can't ask for anymore realy
We have makita and bosch pro for work both are excellent the makita is a lot lighter if your using it for long periods and the light function that stays on for a few seconds after you've finished is excellent! + have you seen the new range of 36v makita 2 coupled 18v batteries cool idea only need one battery type for all your kit even the heavy duty stuff
