Hi Folks,
My second hand SIP Handymig came with a batch of contact tips that have threads that do not match the welder. The one contact tip in it appears to have 10-32 threads and all the tips that came with it and that I can find iat the welding suppliers around here have larger threads that match a 1.0 metric thread gage.
What's the story here? Are SIP tips smaller than all of the other brands? Or might mine have a replacement handle and neck? Is there a source for these smaller 10-32 threaded tips? BTW the contact tip ID I need is .030 or .8 MM.
