Hi all,
I am trying to decide between the Lincoln SP170-l and the Miller Weld Migmatic 201 or 261. I am utterly confused with the choices and the welder's quality. I understand both of them are above average welders in the UK. but WHICH ONE IS ULTIMATELY BETTER??
I will mainly use welders for refurbishing Chassis (Landrover doing a Swiss Cheese impression) and perhaps an amount of auto body work too. I would eventually like to work on seamless tube frames for motorbikes.
I am a distinct amateur, but I am in a position to buy one of the above and would rather do that than buy a cheaper one and try to destroy my liver with the savings.
I have looked at their minimum amps, and cannot find it - I think this is important when it comes to doing delicate stuff. I had a very bad experience with an SIP wire feeds and want a really good wire feed this time.
How does Hobart compare to LE and Miller?
TIA
