Will be bi matalic switch. If you have ducted air from outside going across motor and pump I bet t will be fine I think there design to work upto 90oC. If you think same unit will get sold in hot humid contry which let's face it were not!
that is probably the current overload by the sound of it the thermal cut out will be in the motor it's self.Well i think there is? Its a small butto at the back which seems to be aready pushed down?
I used rock wool instead of kingspan type stuff and it worked much better ..
