I need to build a cnc drilling jig for a mdf production job.
Table to be around 800 x 1000.
Now building the thing is no problem.
Need to decide if i go Mach3 or Mach4 or even LinuxCNC.
I imagine there we be a learning curve and a cnc oxy flue cutting table will be on the cards later on so will pick a system and hopefully stay with it.
Have plenty of Industrial cnc experience and am familiar with G code(well was 10 years ago, hope it soon comes back).
The bit i haven't got a clue about is the controller boards and stepper motor specifications.
Does anyone know if this type of thing would be ideal?

90% of its work will just be moving a drilling head.
Maybe 10% possibly occasionally powering a 5 mm solid carbide cutter to make a few 8, 12, 15 & 30mm diameter holes at up to 15mm deep mdf. Will these be under powered?
