OK fed up of being ripped off with the clean air zone charges.
I believe there is a way to exempt your commercial vehicle if not being used as a commercial vehicle but a daily driver/camper/day van.
Does anybody know how its done for a day van/camper thats not on logbook as a camper or conversion ?
No, not without changing its classification as mentioned by Indy4x
Plenty of people have bought commercial vehicles to take advantage of the cheaper road tax and avoid benefits in kind for a company car. Now they are getting stung for the Clean Air Zone tax.
You are already seeing people selling pickups instead of getting clobbered with a daily charge just to go to work. I expect a lot of camper conversions to hit the market soon as they are still registered as commercials.
