I need to renew in a few weeks and want to ensure I have good European cover as we plan a trip to Europe in June.
I was just checking my existing policy with ClassicLine, it has a couple of major issues I found in the small print.
1) it only provides 3rd party cover when in in Europe.
2) if the car has to be recovered back to the UK, it does not cover the cost of the ferry.
The insurer is KGM and the policy is pretty cheap, full comp 5k miles for £130.
So I went to Lancaster to get an alternative quote, however their quote also came through from KGM with the same underlying issues.
Can anyone recommend a decent insurer they have experience with that doesn't have these issues.
