I don't post much but I'm on on most days for a read and I've noticed the past few months there seems to be more and more talk of lathe's. I've not used one since the first job when I left school some 30 years ago.
I've got more and more intrigued and am now thinking of getting one and learning to do some bits and pieces again but really not sure where to start. I don't think a refurb project is the way to go just yet so probably thinking about a cheapy brand but obviously want to get the best I can for my money and something which can see through for a while.
Space wise I'm limited to worktop for the foreseeable future as the man cave is pretty crowded already.
Just got a VAT free voucher through the post and was wondering about the Cl500M, its still more than I can really afford just now and probably will have to wait till the next voucher comes through. So just wondering what peoples thoughts were?
