Hi there,
New to the forum, came across it whilst searching google for answers
Our Clarke 135 TE is about 15 years old, has been very reliable over this time, but suddenly clapped out the other day.
Absolutely no wire feed all of a sudden. We tested the wire feed motor by removing it, and connecting it to a 12v battery and it worked fine.
When you hold the trigger down of the torch, there is a click, I assumed initially this was the relay but having read some other posts, it seems that the relay click may be too quiet to hear above the fan (which is working and spinning)? And the click may be the contractor instead?
I've got a copy of the wiring diagram, roughly know what the parts of the circuit board are (thank you, GCSE level electronics classes of 20 years ago haha) but I am just wondering which parts would be the first port of call to test for this problem?
Thanks
