Got some chromium carbide plate that needs to be welded onto some mild steel.
Plate is about 10thk ( 50mm squares) including the overlay, and the steel is going on is 12-15thk....
Am I right in thinking that basic G3Si1 wire and Feromaxx will be fine for this job?
Then the weld overlayed with some hard facing wire, or left as is...?
