After 20+ years of them kicking around the garage ‘just in case’, I’ve finally found a use for those disposable CO2 cylinders; a stand for smallish Christmas trees!
The photos say it all really; the coach bolts are a bit ‘Frankenstein’s monster’ and could do with shortening and the welds are just as ugly as I only spent an hour on the whole job and so the gaps were far from perfect (I was under pressure from the ‘Project Manager’), however it works a treat, it’s very stable and easily adjusted to get the tree straight, and it holds enough water for a few days.
