don't seem to bad for a regular courier......we get stuff here in France and anything like that would have to be on a mini pallet.....
think theres a web site that u put in what it is and a post code and they bid at it......

I usually check Interparcel, if you don't know already, they are a sort of comparison site for parcel prices. I sent a mower deck to the Republic a couple of years ago for about £25.
Try parcel2go for a quote.
I don't like them myself as I don't find them very reliable at collecting when they say they will and the tracking can be a bit hit and miss.
I have sent some low value heavy items to NI members on here and they have arranged the collection through P2G and they have been collected/delivered no problems, normally the actuall carrier is parcel force but it's cheaper to book through p2g than directly or via the post office.
