We purchased a CCTV system when we moved in to our current property, mainly because we have the dogs outside, and there are a few ££££’s of tools in the garage and various sheds. Throw in to the mix an ex wife and her new partner with a grudge, it was a joint decision to get a system and install it promptly.
This is possibly where the problem lies... The picture quality is letting us down, however we have caught one of the travelling fraternity selling generators having a good look through windows, down the side of the garage and in the coal bunker for some reason.
The system is one the the readily available Floureon 960H packages that look to be imported by every Tom, Dick and Harry these days.
Question is what should we look at upgrading first? The cameras or the DVR?
Presumably the DVR is only as good as the camera connected to it, and the picture quality is only as good as the DVR can decode it?
