Here is a link to the whiz bang US epoxy : http://www.teslanano.com/
The other two were interzinc 52 and 22. All doing a fine job as you would expect.
That Classics Monthly test. I'd used Waxoyl years ago, and still do on cheap cars. Used Dinitrol on my Lancia 14 yrs ago when it was supposedly the best. It's done okay-ish, but I was susprised in some areas I knew were well protected a few times. So after reading that test, Noxudol this time.
3125 applies easy, 3125 HS is thicker and needs to be heated and/or applied with a pressure pot like Sealey SG18. I have used it on chassis cavities, they had already started rusting inside but the metal was still solid. The outside had been blasted and painted with epoxy and top-coat.
I used Dinitrol simply because it was recommended to me by Rustbusters.
I had a USB camera and the quality was so bad it was useless, so maybe go to Amazon and find one with good reviews, Amazon has lots of reviews of most products.
I read thru the Dinitrol website this morning and they do have a product designed for clean, dry metal and others designed for older cars. The 3125 is just listed as cavity wax, don't think it says if it's for new or old.
Do you remember how many cans or litres you used?
Were they applied to brand new steel?
At the time I was in the fortunate position not to need to count, I went through three or four tins on the cavity frame of the bulkhead
Sprayed when the bulkhead was at many different angles to let it soak into seams
I used a few cans of ACF50 on the three door frames as well.
Stone chip on the hard to get to bits covered in Dinitrol. Where the road grit and salt can get I used Dinitrol high solids and steam most of it off / re coat just before the MOT each year. I like it to be spotless when it goes for test then re coat it when I get back.
HTH
Not intending to drive the car on salty or wet roads. Thanks for the info there, I guess its very much vehicle dependant to how much is used.
