just like using copper electric wire? with that with a ac tig or OxyI have brazed with copper repaired a cast iron spokeshave. Came up well but wasn't nice to use wasn't at all fluid
Yes copper wire on dc tigjust like using copper electric wire? with that with a ac tig or Oxy
I’ve actually had a lot of success both welding and brazing CI with gtaw. I’ve done it both very hot if the part is small and I’ve kept the heat right out of a larger part with decent technique on travel speed. You’d be surprised how quickly you can motor on with tig if you ain’t frightened to crank up the juice and use a decent filler size that will be swallowed into the pool without a glitch.
Have you tried pure copper stripped from twin and earth cable?
I have, not ideal but does kinda work, proper welding rods have a bit of silicon to make to pool more fluid

Turn the juice up and move quick, the pool is too sluggish to use conventional currents,Ive done it with success wasnt the nicest. But its worked. Wondered if there was a method
would you use ac with 10 % balance just to give that little bit cleaningTurn the juice up and move quick, the pool is too sluggish to use conventional currents,
i expect that sign was 4 miles from Penrith
