After restoring my tractor and not having a trailer other than the small car one i made a small carryall box to fit on the rear arms. All made from bits of scrap that i had scrounged from various places. Old bed irons, old fire hose pipe anything was usable to save money and recycle
The basic frame(don't look too close at the welds )
Then added the 3 point hookup to the back
A couple of reinforcements in the bottom corners
Painted ready for the back and base with primer and then 2 top coats
Back abd baseboards on made with 23mm birch marine ply.
Turning the posts for the sides and front
turned the ends to fit into the pipe supports
Cut a flat side to screw the ply onto
Added the removable sides also in marine ply but only 15mm(the 23mm wasn't big enough)
And the rear made from old pallet lats all oiled with a wood preserver.
In action doing its bit
I find i use it a lot even though i now have a proper trailer, fetching wood, shifting rocks, sand anything that fits. It looks bigger than it is at 1200mm x 800mm. and so far my welds are holding.
Not to everyones interest but a real handy item if you have a tractor as its easier to reverse and manage than a trailer.
