Hi all (read ADVICE in the title )
No metal today, i'm looking for a way to make this wood look lighter, i think it's made out of coffin wood as we say here (pine), it's at leat 60 years old and well dry.
I stripped the paint with a metal brush, then buffed it with scotch brite pads, the surface is very smooth and now i need to make it lighter in color.
If i use normal transparent varnish it'll go darker i guess ?
I've seen some with a hint of white mixed in, will it achive what i'm looking for ?
